Whether its "true" love or not, i really dont think matters. In an abusive situation you can still feel love. But even if it isnt love, its still something you feel strongly that makes you not want to leave.

I can understand that. No one wants to be used. I guess the difference is where i live about half the people im exposed to speak spanish, while i hardly ever run into a single person who is deaf. I know many people are, but if i see a person signing in public its almost like spotting a unicorn...

I completely agree with you. What makes one person happy wont be the same as the next. And i get what you mean about "its not always the man." I grew up with some pretty unhealthy relationship advice, and its taking me, even though i know im wrong when i do it, a long time to undo bad habits.
