Thanks for asking about me. I have just been busy and got out of the habit of checking in.

My Meniere's really doesn't bother me much any more. Glad to hear that things are moving forward on your implant. I was tested in November and approved for CI's but I chose to wait until my HA's do not offer me any benefit at all. I was a borderline case and my hubby works for Siemen's so I was able to get two Siemens aids for next to nothing. The technology was a huge improvement over my previous aid, so I decided to wait.

Currently, I am in training to be a Hearing Aid Specialist with Sonus here in FL.

Congratulations on your Hearing Ear dog. I think that is wonderful. That has always been an area of great interest for me for obvious reasons. I have even helped local deaf people get on the wait list for a Hearing ear dog in FL.
