Hey there! Sorry I didn't reply sooner. I have been busy with a full time job and I don't come here very much. I use Facebook a lot. The weather here is cold and wet as it is in the middle of winter now. You can send your hot weather over if it is too hot for you. lol...It will be about another 5 months to go before we steal the summer season back from you, ha! No I didn't know that your birthday is 2 days after mine. I hope you had a nice birthday as I did have a great time. I have turn 50 this year. How's your music playing going? I would love to see you play in the band some day.

Hello Kevin, sorry that it took me so long to reply. To answer your questions..Yes, I play acoustic, electric and bass guitars. I have been playing and taking lessons for almost 5 years now. I'm lucky that I have a regular gig playing bass in a church band every Sunday as well as the occasional guitar show and band camps. As for the deaf musician experience, well, that's a very different experience because there's really no frame of reference that you can discuss with another deaf musician because each one of us has a different hearing level and the musical experience is unique to each of us. Each of us approaches music differently as far as practice, reading and playing.

What kind of guitars do you play and how long have you been playing? What kind of music do you play? I am also curious about The Deaf Band. I have not yet heard their music so I don't really know how well they play. But I applaud them for having the courage to start a band and live their dreams. More power to them! Rock on, brothers!
