Hi my name is Nicole, I have a young son who was born deaf, he is not a candidate for a CI and His doctor put him on the short list for the brain stem op and then cancelled befor we were even told about it because it is to dangerous I was wondering if this was the same thing that you were talking about, if not would you please tell me a little about stem cells, I am going to look it up but some times I understand things better when real people explain things.
