Thanks for the ref to AMPHL. Never heard of them. Actually its not such a big problem since I can do without the aids during work or I discretely take off one of them and its enough, but its nice to know of such a site. Maybe one day I will need a special sthetoscope.

Hi, just joined the list. I'm a physician too (family and sports), live in Israel and a mom to a deaf child. Recently started using hearing aids myself since I have a relatively minor hearing problem, but find it difficult now to use it at work (using sthetoscope...).
