Snoopy pole, that's so funny. Mine was small, my sister's was Mickey Mouse. It seemed like mine was orange and white, but it was so long ago. I love fishing because of how quiet it is. I usually bring my camera to take nature pictures while I am waiting on a fish. They have bells to put on the end of the pole now so it alerts you about a fish. Wow, Hot Tamale Freezies? I am going to have to go to QT and get me one. I live 35 minutes from though.
I am sorry your wife is sick. That is so sweet of you to take care of her. When I lived in OKC, I had my rounds of thrift stores. It was like one large circle. LOL. OKC is spread apart to it was a few hour adventure. I love getting books, humming bird things, and stuff for craft projects. 7-11, wow, I have not heard that in so long. LOL.. Oh how I miss the slirpees or as some call them Icees. Dr. Pepper, I can taste it now. YUM. As of my weekend, I may just go fishing. Take me myself and I. My boyfriend never goes with me.

What sounds like fun is driving up to Oklahoma City, walking at Lake Hefner like I used to do when I lived in OKC. Also go to thrift stores and treasure hunt for cool stuff. Road trip sounds nice. lol. Gas is too much though.
