Wow,that is awesome for you!! I couldnt do that unless maybe turning the setting button down for how much surrounding noise comes into my ear,i haven't tried doing that yet,guess its time i found out,huh?!

Idk,just know it seems to be taking so long my husband days i hear more than i think i do! I can hear and mostly understand what he says to me from another room,which before my ci was totally impossible

It took me longer than most from what i have read here it has been almost 7 mths now since being activated the robotic sound is gone,i still have that minnie mouse affects from womens voices! I understand more and more,but at the moment i still need to look at peoples faces while there talking...

Doing pretty good now,hearing lots of sounds that i havent heard in yrs,the speech part is slow going for me,people still sound like minney mouse (mostly women). The vibration sound is gone now, thank goodness,not real sure what happened or why it went away but so glad it did! I sure hope it...

Originally i pointed that one out,but guess my insurance didnt cover it for some reason, they look and act the same to me,could have a different processor, mine is synchrony,and now wouldnt u know it a new med el rondo rechargeable one came out 5 mths after getting other one!

Yeah you know i do realize this with me also i just figured i felt this way because we have to see a persons face when we are talking, its not the same with the hearing,they can look around or keep doing what there doing and they can still hear and understand you and we are like trying to follow...

I got it fixed, i had to email my audio and she sent me a 3, so that is what i have been using, things have been much better since, even the batteries last longer now!!
