Aww, Thank you! I know I look young because it is my genetics. My father was 62 years old, he looked young and he looks like he was 40 years old. He was handsome man. He died in 1986.

My name is Ronda. Don't feel bad for me. I am proud to be deaf that's who I am. And you asked me "What is it being deaf, I mean to be in a world with no sound?" It's long write about it. I will tell you later.

Can you talk at all? Yes, I can talk sometime. I learned to speak and lipreading by the teacher. I am not very good lipreading. I tried to talk with people but they don't understand what I am talking about. My daughter heard me what I am talking about and she understand me.

Were you born deaf? Yes, I was born deaf. My mother had very high fever and German measles when she was pregnant with me. That's why I was born deaf.

Can you hear at all, like a little bit or no? I used to wear my hearing aids when I was growing up. I heard the phone ring, dogs bark loud, and knock on the door. 12 years ago, my hearing aids broke. I don't wear hearing aids anymore.
