    Would this offend you?

    I was just wondering if there is ever a time to 'assume' someone who is Deaf/deaf needs help? Without them asking for help? I mean I don't want to make anyone feel like I think I'm better or something but I also don't want to be like 'oh, they'd ask if they need help' and ignore someone.

    Deaf in NC

    I'm not deaf but I'm learning to sign, I live in NC, about 3 hours 15 minutes/ 3 1/2 hours away. :)

    Hi, I'm Nicole, I'm 20 years old, hearing and learning ASL. I live in NC and want to be an actress, author and singer. I'm very interested in the Deaf community but I don't really know many people yet. Hopefully that will change. :)
