Hello ASL student, I am in the UK like you I am learning to sign ( BSL ) british sign language, I have got quite afew of the signs but like your self I need lots more practice before I become any good or confident at signing, and also like you I need the signer to sometimes finger spell what they have just signed, I have a friend who is totally deaf and he helps me out now and again. Dont worry about being new to e mailing and chatting over the internet it will soon come as second nature to you.
not a problem....my name is philip, i live in Amherst, Ohio, and i work at wendys. i am working on going to college this fall for interpreting, but have been actively interpreting at church for 2 years. but legalities call for a degree to get certified now, so that's what i am working on. hope to hear from you soon.
