Hi Annaclare,

I am 49, I lost my hearing at 44. pretty much instantly. This will qualify my lack of knowledge in deaf culture. There are more factors in association with this, but i need to gain the ability to interact with the world. I am here to learn, try to not offend and possibly find people to converse with.
