Hey green eyed lady. Nice drums and family ( I checked out your album ). I also ride. Seems we have a few things in common. Nice to meet you.

I grew up hard of hearing in a hearing family. Father had a hearing aid to to scarlet fever and high fevers causing a hearing loss in his left ear. I had been steadily losing my hearing over 37 years and in March of 08 I lost it all. I can't hear a thing and my family now, hubby and 2 kids as well as mother, are all hearing. Daughter has a deformed ear, but can hear sounds, but everything is "fuzzy", but she can't wear HA's as they just inccrease the volume of the "fuzzy" sounds. She has learned to deal with it and after undergoing massive speech therapy sessions, does very well. She still has speech issues, but that is caused by her muscle problems in her face and neck.

hi angelus!
rapid cycling can be very difficult to treat -- especially without medication. i have what is called ultradian or
ultra-ultra rapid cycling bipolar disorder where my moods change on an hourly basis. i take 4 different types of meds for my bipolar -- soon to be 5. if you ever have any questions about rapid cycling or bipolar, let me know!
by the way, has your sister ever considered seeing a psychiatrist to take meds for her rapid cycling? she would feel so much better if she did. i know if i didn't take meds for my rapid cycling, i would be completely miserable.

hahahaha! you're right! van halen did release an album called "5150."
5150 is also "police speak" for a mentally ill person who needs to be committed. you might know from reading my posts that i have bipolar disorder. i use 5150 in a joking manner to refer to myself.
the word "beeper" refers to a person who has bipolar.
