Beware of Scammer

I have to thank my older brother for cautioning me about fake people on sites like this. Just because you can see someone on web cam doesn't mean you're really speaking with that person. Names can easily be faked, and anyone can fake like they're falling in love. Without some precautions, you may fall to a scam like "hey I need some money to get a plane ticket; will you send me some?" With those points in mind, here is an important tip about how to protect yourself.

Sometimes people use software to play a video through their web cams to make you think you're talking to the person in the video. The first thing you should do any time you're speaking with someone is ask them to do something that not many people are going to have a recording of. For example, I like to ask people to touch their left ear with their right index finger. You can do just about anything reasonable, including "lick your left thumb and place it on your forehead." If the person refuses a simple request like this after you explain to them why you're asking, then you can be reasonably sure you're talking to someone only out to scam you.

What kinds of tips can other people provide about how to protect yourself from scammers? A little community awareness about how to protect ourselves cannot possibly hurt.

I suggest to stop going on dating websites in general. Get off your computer, leave the house, go for a walk and maybe you'll bump into a pretty girl.

And most of us on here are pretty genuine.

I ask them if they have vp 100 or vp 200? They said yes, they have VP. I try to ask them which VP they have. Try this one. You will be able to separate a scammer from a true person with their answer.

Of course, Scammer do not know what is VP mean but they might know what it is. They can't do anything to fake it on VP and just fake the webcam on the computer. :cool2:

I don't give up on Deafs.com and trying to email to them to come on IM 1st and then 2nd play the body game on the webcam and then last is to ask them "do u have VP?". Those are a strong safe way to success for meet face to face on VP. :type:
 
I actually knew someone who used to pretend they were a girl on the internet and scam people. Its way easier than you think! If you know where to look, you can get almost all the tools you need such as loopable videos, pictures, all that shit. A almost full proof plan is to ask them to write you name on a sheet of paper ON video. I also know several people who are good enough in photoshop to do it in a photo, but have never met anyone who could do it in a video (if possible).

Personally, the person I knew if anything else taught me to never, ever look for people on the internet. Sure there are genuine women on the internet, but you just never know...
 
Scammer almost got me here lol. last year, there were a 21 years old woman asked me for money to support her and her sick father. HA. Why would she pick 17 years old dude?

Edited: Btw I did read all those stop-scammer's site and all those mosting came from Nigeria in African. If you need help to check if it is a scammer, then go to www.stop-scammer.com and put in the IP address in it from your email's view source by that person send to you.
 
i have careful on scammer by email but i do ingore and delete all the times but i dont trust i would agree with posts

for your information the vp is not very common in west africa,the products is for only the rich .ever me can not afford it

She's right, guys. The odds of finding any are greatly higher than what you find online but there's a chance that anyone could find love online provided the two parties are the genuine article.
