I just started dating someone who is involved in deaf world (for our age) and I want to break up with him cuz he is not my level and he is getting really serious, talking about marriage and meeting his family and buying a house.... As many people here know, I am oral and mostly date hearing guys, this is the first time to date a Deaf/HOH guy..... how do i break up with him in a nice way and avoid deaf world rumors and keep the group together......

it is always hard to break off with somebody within your circle of friends.

If I was in your shoes, I would tell the guy that I am not ready and don't want to hurt his feeling if I lend him on because I am not ready for a serious commitment. If I like him, I can tell him that I do like him but I want to take this SUPER slow, maybe back to friends and occassionally dating, but no referrences to "our future"... Set you rules/boundaries. If he cannot accept it then maybe it is not a good idea to stay friends with him if he couldn't respect your choices.
