Question Diverse personality or Same personality? Opposite attract or Same attract?

Individual people looks for diverse personality or same personality?

Let's say I like guy with diverse personality, I don't want same personality.

For example: He's serious person and I'm funny person.

What about opposite attract or same attract? (or it doesn't matter).

For example: He's tall 6'5" and She's short 4'11". A friend of mine who's taller over 6'0" and his girlfriend 5'0". They're cute couple but opposite attract, interesting. They says it was just a heart of love.

Well, my husband is tall and I am short, so that is opposite. But we have been married for so many years, we now think quite a bit alike and share a lot of the same opinions.

I can get quite intense and serious so it would help if the guy is funny to help me from thinking way too much and just have fun! I look for complementing, not opposites. You know like yin-yang thing.

He does not have to have same opinions but it would help if we have same type of values.

My ex hubby and I were total opposites..he is anal while I am goofy. He believes in the 1950s values of women's place being in the house as a housewife. My views were the total opposite. He believes in spoiling but not giving consequences to our daughter. I believe in having her work for what she wants and her learning from her wrong behavior.

My current hubby and I believe in the same things and are so much alike.

See which marriage lasts longer...married to my ex for 7 years but 2gether for 3 years b4 that.

My current hubby..married for 3 years but 2gether for a year b4 that. So got 4 more years to make a tie and 5 years to make the current one longer.

I think successful couples can have complimentary personalities, which are different but not necessarily "opposites." It's most important that their basic beliefs and values be similar.

Physical differences? Vive la difference!

That's my opinion.
