Do you remember your first love?

Mine was when I was 15 and he was 19 and in college and he broke my heart because he left me because I would not sleep with him.

That's easy for me...my first love was my ex hubby. We got into a serious relationship when I was 17 and married when I was 21 years old. It was good until we moved to DC..no biggie.

Mine was when I was in...8th grade (I think) and he was in the 10th grade...he asked me out to prom (it was a small high school so it was a 10th-12th grade prom, lol) but my father refused to let me go. That night my little sister came into my bedroom and told me there was a guy standing at my window waving. I looked out and sure enough, there he was standing all dressed up in his tux. It was well after midnight. I was in my PJs but I didn't think about until later. I went outside...and he said, "I saved the last dance just for you." And we danced under a full moon. He also learned how to sign a song (he was hearing) from my deaf friend (who later told me that he went to his house like every day for two weeks to practice it until he felt he was ready). He had a cassette tape (yes, a cassette tape...I feel old now) in his car, on full blast, and he signed it to me. It was so sweet!

I don't have my first love yet but I'll tell you a few things I have with Jay. In honor band, Jay was thirsty and hungry for a snack. we weren't allowed to eat anything or drink anything during honor band after school. but he did it anyways. he finished his snack (with out getting caught luckly :-) ) and after honor band he wasn't done with his drink. His friend drinks ALL of his soda and he caughts him doing it. I was like: "what are you doing?" jay was chasing his friend. and he replied to me: "that nitwit drank all my coke!!" I laughed. He smiled and laughed too. His friend laughed and jay went back to chasing him. And after getting to know him. I'm kinda falling in love with him. okay i'm rly am falling in love with him. But all i want to do is talk to him for fun and then kiss him...but that part havent happened yet. I want to experience my first kiss. which i havent and that part sucks.

I had my first love at age 14 (going to be 15) and been with him maybe a year. I was hurt when he broke up with me. But I accepted and moved on. I see him once a while...we are good friends.

Oh yeah, I remember it as possibly the shortest relationship ever. Back in high school, I met my then girlfriend on Valentines Day, I outdid myself and gave her a dozon roses and treated her to lunch at a nearby Applebees. We went back to finish our day at school, kissing and holding hands between class periods. After football practice, I was walking with other friends to the parking lot, and I saw her standing at the curb entrance, roses in hand, waiting on me. Well, the idiot jerk in me kept walking, talking to my friends about the afternoon practice, as we passed by her, I said nothing...just left her... I still miss her, but I was stupid, stupid, stupid! If you women want to shoot me, I deserve it!

I met my first love when I was 13 years old and he was older 15 years old when he was going to be 16. We had so much firery passion at such a young age. We were together two years until I walked out on him for personal reasons. So that summer he killed himself so I guess when you have your first love, you can never forget it. First love is a very rare feelings and poweful feelings. Once you are in love with your first love, you never really let go.

My first REAL love is my current partner. We love each other for who we are, feel like our souls two become one. I'm happy I have this person in my life. I date other people years ago but this is the best and and for the people that we have dated in past, their loss

I believe that first love is speical because it a first experices a young teenagers experices. First love will always stay in your heart. It something we can't forget, but wec can always remember them in a speical way. But we were all young back then. It was going good until we both enrolled at Gallaudet at the same time. That is when things changed. At college, you meet all kinds of people and you also change too.

Sure, I was devastated but I knew it wouldn't do any good if we remained together. Nevertheless, He and I still keep in touch from time to time and have always remained on a good term.

Yep, I agree, people do change when we grow up. But first love never take the place in my heart but we do move on to differnet path to love someone new. You right we do change and met all kind of people out there.

Yes I do remember my first love.. I was 13 and his name was Kenny.. We were together for 7 years. He moved to California and we kept writing to each other for 3 yrs... then he came back to Arkansas. I was so happy and we spent lot of times together... till he cheated on me when i was 20 yrs old as He did got other lady pregnant and had to marry her... the lady's name is Michelle...

I heard he is fucked up and is in drugs now... he is married to another older lady in 40's. We are same age , 35 yrs old.. and our bday is on same number 2... but different month.. lol.. we had so many things in common..... oh well.... sure do miss him lots.. but i have moved on without him...

I saw his ex wife Michelle at the beauty salon.. she cut TJ's hairs.. I didn't recognized her! she look so different now... her hairs are dyed brown and short.. she also had gained weights.. till she said u dont remmy me, do you? I said no should i? she said yes.. kenny's ex wife? i was like isnt that you michelle?? she said yes! it was great to see her again.. funny.. i dont resent against her now like i did in the past ... oh well.. guess i have grown up alot since then.. heh..

Love, true love that is, comes and go. Sometimes true love stands the test of time and sometimes it just doesn't. Keep on moving forward that true love will come your way. I believe we are not meant to have one true love. It matters on the time in your life, that moment where it happens then it will come.
