Have you ever been curious about the number of people your date has slept with? Of course you have! Sure, it's tricky to come right out and ask, but if you're dying to know and do go ahead and ask, then heed this. A new study conducted by researchers at Villanova University and Rutgers University may lend some surprising insight.

People who are antagonistic and negative and people who are friendly and enthusiastic are more promiscuous than those with more moderate demeanors, according to the study's authors.
"It's likely that rude people have many sexual encounters to avoid true intimacy because they have a fear of rejection," says researcher Patrick Markey, Ph.D., a professor of psychology at Villanova University. "Likewise, very affable people may sleep around because sex is a way to express warmth to another person. The study is surprising because being friendly and warm is often associated with 'moral' behavior -- not promiscuity."

Overall, strong-personality types (be they charming or rude) are likely to go out to parties often and aren't shy about approaching a potential bedmate, which ups their chances of procuring a paramour.

That said, this doesn't mean that if your date picks apart your restaurant choice or attacks your politics, that he or she is necessarily playing musical beds. Nor does it prove that the strikingly friendly person who approaches you at a bar sleeps around. But if you are struck by how unusually critical or chummy a prospect is, you may want to take it very slow.

Are you rude or not? hmm! I thought this is very interesting topic to read.. so what do you think of this???
