You mean in my line, or the people who came to watch?

If in line, I had three woman, one girl, three men, and one boy.

If talking about the people who came to watch, I had about 150-200 (give or take) people watching my wedding.

Hubby and I eloped when I first moved to Australia. :-X We did plan on a big wedding, but since we were really tight financially and had to get married within the 9 months validity of my Prospective Spouse Visa, so we decided to elope instead. We plan on having another wedding to re-new our vows and have families there as well. (We're approaching our 5th year wedding anniversary in September.)

Hubby's parents really cracked the shits with us eloping, didn't speak to us for 2 weeks, but now they're ok with it.

Ours was considered small...only about 40 people came to watch the wedding. All of them were family members with exception of 4....two were girlfirends of my two brothers...and other 2 friends were the children of both girlfriends. :p

if i EVER have a wedding, it ll be small simple and tasteful, and no country outfit! i ll just wear a standard tux with a touch of a rose here or there, and the place of location i belive would be in the mountains or on the beach, were simplicity meets nature!

Never got married, prolly won't for a long while but the kind of wedding that appeals to me is under a full moon in the early evening when sun is beginning to set. WIth white lights everywhere, mini flames, flower petals all over the ground. Low music around. That is what i would mind. I do not want to get married in church at all.

uhmm the perception i have of the "elope(ment)" would mean that the couple would get out of the homestate/county/area whatever and go elsewhere like LV for example -- other ppl are welcome to their POV's ofc

wait til Sydlie answers this IF she shows up again to post

Dated three months. Engaged two months. Married in Navy chapel. My hubby wore his uniform, I wore a simple dress. Chaplain, Best Man, Maid of Honor. Ten guests. Reception at friend's house. Small home-made cake. No honeymoon trip.

Wedding was small and simple. Marriage has been glorious!

Congratulations to all that had weddings and will have weddings soon.

My guy and I wanted something simple and small. And of course, we put everything together for three months.. I didn't have a dream of an elaborate wedding with 100 + people. Hell that would freak me out. lol So I was like, whatever, let's get what we just need and get it done. We invited 36 people-- and almost everyone came, except my father (who instead decided to pay off my credit card as a wedding gift and THAT is a very big thing). I was surprised my mother and my siblings flew in. It was a great wedding and party.

About 10 people were present in the judge's office when we were officially married--just how we wanted it. We both weren't religious and didn't want a church wedding at all and immediate family members only were invited to the court wedding. I'd say the judge cleaned up really well! LOL

About 34 people showed up at the party-- only cousins, uncles, aunts and all in addition to our immediate families. They didnt mind they didnt get invited to the court thing, I'm sure. We're not close to them anyway. Why torture them as well as ourselves? LOL I had a really great dress and bonquet-- got our pics taken professionally -- and we just put more effort in the party-- that cost more than the actual wedding itself.. but that's what I wanted. It was very beautiful and elegant! Very posh. Everyone had a blast. Only things I would change is the cake itself and make my dress more shorter. lol.. I hated that cake from a stupid bakery that we hired to make professionally. Everyone was sooo nice bringing some great homemade cakes, anyway! Took us days to open a lot of wedding presents. lol Of course, I wrote thank you cards and mailed them to everyone with our professional wedding photo enclosed.

Got married October 2002. Going strong on 2 years now. No kids, and dont want any yet. I consider my husband my soulmate, the better half of me. l

For me, somewhere in St. Paul- who knows? I am not sure who will officate my wedding (now I am single, not worry about wedding).. For me, I want to wear white dress, and not sure about bridemaids/groomsmen.. it depend on who I will be enganged to. I want to invite immediate family and close friends, not disant friends.... it prolly be small weddding... dunno where reception will be held at- depends on $$$ most weddinngs are expensive!!!

When I was enganged once- I and my ex fiance was planning on getting married in either 3005 or 2006, and he wanted cheap food like hamburger for reception it is not good wedding reception menu.. I never gone to a reception that serves cheap food. We was planning on using blue and yellow/gold as wedding colors.

We got married at my in laws' second lake home. We had about 100 but really, it should be approx. 60 but my dh's parents invited and paid for dinner and got their gifts. His parents's friends know my dh since my dh was 2. All of dh's parents had old buddies. THATS OK

At least, we got married outside right next to the LAKE. I grew up wanting to get married ON THE BEACH, OCEAN AND SANDs. But i only got LAKE and GRASSES.. Close enough.

Beautiful, simple, elgant.
