True Love..
What is true love and how do you know when you have found it?
I am curious of your feedbacks... i learned something new yesterday... i realized i was wrong all along for many years.. i will tell you mine.. after i read some of yours..  i realized this may be different opinions on each individuals.. so please dont bashing or anything like that ok?

I think one of the largest parts of true love is RESPECT... if you truely love someone you respect who they are in every way, if you look at the quote in my signature you'll see something about that.
Back in the day when people had pre-arranged weddings many times they didn't love each other when they got married, but grew to love each other out of respect. A second very important thing is trust... that's why I don't think it's good to rush into marraige... because it takes years to build respect and trust, and you have to be sure you can respect and trust somebody before you marry them.

Well......its hard to describe actual true love. its just that feeling you get.......you know? not infatuation, not lust, but actual love for the person. you can't be without them, you have to be by their side, you're compelled to.............im not really sure but its just a great love for the other person. lol its very complicated. i don't think that you can actually describe true love. well maybe not me anyway. lol

theres alots different opinions over "true love"
As for me.. Since i found the true of love.. Accept who i am. and accept who he is Happy myself and happy himself first willing to be work together as team like forgive, listen our bad sides even we like it or not respect, truth, listener, communicate support/help each other

Yes, our emotions are involved, but they cannot be our only criteria for love. True devotion will always lead to action - true love. Which mean that they will always be there for you in good or bad times. Never leave your side through it all. He is here for you. you know? I learned something new.. I guess I was blind.. lol

Everyone has its own love, and it is hard to explain, because my love may be different than yours. Once you feel a love, you would understand YOUR own love, and telling someone about your love, someone would understand it, but not as in 100%, because they have NOT feel your OWN love yet. Love = complicating.

There is no right or wrong to come to the definition of LOVE. Everyone has their own definition of what love is like. It does not mean it is good or bad. It just comes in their own special way when they see it as fit. In retrospect, Yes it can be complicated to describe love but when you feel it, you know it inside your heart to preserve it. It is better to be loved than NEVER to be loved.

It doesn't matter whether love was here before the bible came along or not. The important thing the poster, SmileyGin learned what love is. I think the bible is a good place to start for some people since it has some good advice.
For me, love is trust, respect and accepting another person's faults along with the good traits. Love starts in different ways for diffferent people--some with loud bang and others is a quiet creeping on them. Mine was a big bang and over the years it become a more steady kind of love. |

For me, True love is accepting a person despite their faults, loving them during the good and bad, having them do the same for you in return.
It's knowing they will be there when you're sad, they will support you in everything you do or don't do. They don't ask for more than you're willing to give. They have the patience to put up with your many faults and still love you. Love is wanting to wake up each morning next to that person and kiss them good morning, being able to sleep next to them at night and actually feel safe instead of scared. It's kissing them or hugging them just because. |

True love is hard to find! Many people thought that they had true love but they broke up or got divorce. I was in same boat. I thought i had a true love with my ex. I was so wrong. I had hard time understand what is true love.
One day My stepdad sat with me and he explained to me about Love. He said Love have more than one and love can effect you emotion, happy, sad and etc. I asked him about a true love. he said it is very hard to find. My husband and I believe that we found a true love each other. We don't let anything hurt our true love. It is very challage. We have to learn to be strong and protect our love. |

To me true love is putting that person in front of ur self.
and if they don't do the same for you. then it isn't meant to be. U need to have the feeling u had with them at the beginining to last forever. so if it ever stops it isnt true love.

love is to me....if a person do something very very awful like betray or whatever just forgive him and love him no matter what it is love can drive u crazy make u want to anything that is so impossible...but also love give u something to believe in and give u to hope for true love wont let anything get in their way as long as they fight againt bad times love will help to break thru if person really love him....will do anything for him stand by his side trust him believe him respect him love is very powerful in entire unvierse it is true that every ppl have different way to know when they are in true love....it is very wonderful to be in love love do make ppl happy love make u have alot of emotion like jealous and angry and all it show that u do care abt that person and show that u do care abt that person all i can say is true love is amazing....to be honest...i never find true love and i still dont but i will some day
