I have had couple of long distance relationships. It was not so bad. Unless you cannot stand the patience of waiting to see eachother again. From my personal experience, I would go for it but only if this other person willing to trust you.

Right now, my wife and I have a long distance relationship. Ours is not just from one state to a different state. We have this huge ass body of water between us. I am in Germany while she is still in AZ. Hopefuly she will be in Germany with me in less then a month
