I have a question for you, what does it "the warm feeling is mutual" mean?

When a guy told a girl, "I love you!". The girl told a guy, "the warm feeling is mutual". After they went to sport game and bar with friends then go walking together to home, then he told her, then she told him, too. They are knew each other at college then reunite again, few times they hang out and talking before going to sport game. Do they like each other?

It means she feels the same way. She did not exactly say she loved the guy back, she just said she feels warm towards the guy, as he feels warm towards her.
