I am already annoyed with acnes on my skin, but now in my ears? I can't get rid of them out of my ears as easily I used to. I often clean my ears, but lately I can't end it. My ears are burning up everytime I have to listen with my hearing aids. I figured that mades it worst because I'm pressuring the space for the acne.

So, what can I do to get rid of them? I'm done with skin doctor - is it, determologist? (sp?) - and I have taken several pills. So, that's over with.

I noticed one of my ears are itchy more than usual and tried to reduce it by cleaning it and use very little of lotion.

Now, once one of the acne is gone, another one shows up and it's ridiculous what I have to put up with! Tell me what I have to do to get them to go away and prevent them from coming back. I do not mind outside of the ears, I mind when its in the ear. >_<

When you say that you're "done" with your doctor, what do you mean? Do you mean that your course of treatment is over? Or do you mean that you are discouraged with the doctor?

Usually acne is not a short course resolution. If you were taking medication for it, you probably need to continue with the medication and topical treatments. The dermatologist is the expert for you.

Maybe you have an allergy to to your ears molds. Did you trying cleaning your ears mold with a little rubbing alcohol . I would find a new doctor if you're not happy with the one you have.

swab neosporin with Q-tip on acne it work for many people since it have antibacterial/antibiotics properties in it

When I get acne it seems to be diet related. Food like microwave popcorn, pie, cookies etc. Fatty processed desert foods.

I think its the cottonseed oil and other fats they use that have a long shelf life. Avoid packaged or prepared food as much as possible.

I was thinking about this thread yesterday and remembered something. When I had my HA's, I would get acne in the ears all the time. Both my audi and PCP advised me to take a QTip, get ti wet with alcohol and just rub the area affected with the alcohol. After a day or two, it will dry and go away. I did notice, once I no longer wore the HA's, I never got the acne in the ear again. I also have very oily skin, so I used to get acne a lot, but not now. Changed my diet and no longer get it. When my kids wore their HA's, they also got acne in the ear.

Before putting Neosporin in your ears, consider this because if you put it in its
greasy form you may do more harm than good:

Summary:

* Neosporin is a combination of three antibiotics that fight skin infections caused by staph and strep bacteria.
* Neosporin is useful for treating “pimples” that contain clear, yellow pus. These are usually caused by staph bacteria.
* Neosporin is also useful for treating blisters that pop and release a sugar-like honey-colored fluid that sticks to the skin.
* The kinds of skin infections that Neosporin treats usually begin with a cut or scrape rather than in a pore.
* Neosporin has no effect on acne bacteria, and cannot reach into pores to kill any kind of bacteria that may live there.
* Neosporin is OK for treating small numbers of blisters, but extensive outbreaks or outbreaks that also cause infections of the throat or sinuses require medical attention.
* Neosporin won’t do anything for non-inflammatory blemishes on acne-prone skin, but Exposed Skin Care will.

Using Neosporin to Treat Acne: Our Recommendations

If you have blackheads in your ears that may be the cause of pimples later,
try remove them first with this:

be sure to swipe both the skin and the tool with alcohol properly - before.

I however, would rather suggest you'd go to the dermatology clinic,
and inquire about the acid and the laser treatments. For both b-head and the acne.

it can be a bit pricey, but usually it lasts longest.

If you have acne that is severe enough you could try accutane. As an esthetician I would not suggest neosporin..that can just clog the pores cuz it's greasy...You could try somethng like proactive or anything with a salicylic acid in it
