I just stock mine with La Fin Du Monde...
I save the Sleeman's, Kokanee, Big Rock and so on for when I am out at a bar.

Not a single one. MIL would have a heart attack if one passed through the doorway. Not to mention, I gave up drinking when I couldn't walk over a speed-bump.

We rarely have beer in our refrigerator. Mostly we keep our wine cooler stocked with red and white wine.
I am not an afficado of American beer, though there are some beers that I do like, especially some of the local beers that are microbrewed here in Salt Lake City. The Squatters Pub do brew some of delicious beer, such as the Hefeweizen beer. The most interesting beer I ever tasted was cherry flavoured beer Krieks in Belgium, where they literally add cherry syrup to beer. It tasted surprsingly good. They also make raspberry syrup to go with beer, and its called frambois. In Germany, where the beer tradition is especially strong, I find myself drinking mostly Weissbier. It's a popular beer in Bavaria region, and tastes light on the palate. When one is working, one can ask for the Radler's special, where the Weissbier is mixed with lemonade, so it reduces the alcohol content of the beer, but is quite tasty. Radler literally means the "biker" so it is good for someone who needs to ride the bike home after consuming some. :-)

Lots of 2% milk, juice, yogurt, fresh fruit and veggies. The tea is made fresh daily and sits on counter as we drink it all day long and we don't have soda, any alcohol or anything like that.

I'm wondering if the original poster has anything other than beer in his fridge. |

He buys fresh organic... so I don't think keeping anything long-term in the fridge is much of a problem.

We (We being my roommate and I) plan our meals for the week every week. We're pretty meticulous in the planning. We only buy what we need for the week. Lots of fruits and veggies can be outside the fridge for the week and it gets used. Rice, bean, sauces, tortillas, etc can be outside the fridge. The biggest upside of this "lifestyle" - nothing goes bad or to waste. Meanwhile: we're going to check out a free pop machine to see if we can fix it and have it running as our beer fridge
