Buffalo Wild Wings

Any of you ever eat there?

Some people abbreviate the name by saying "BW2" or "BW3". Which do you use?

When I was in Rochester and they set up that place near RIT (in 2000), everyone was calling it BW3. I didn't understand, but went along with it.

When I came back to Texas, I noticed they had started expanding throughout Texas as well. However, my friends in Texas called it BW2.

After doing some research, I found out why different people called it differently.

Buffalo Wild Wings was originally called Buffalo Wild Wings & Weck. Yep, they served wings plus served burgers and pulled pork on weck buns. (It's a specific kind of bread/bun.) They removed weck-related foods from their menu and "Weck" no longer had a purpose in the restaurant title. So, they named it Buffalo Wild Wings.

Since Rochester is close to Ohio (where Buffalo Wild Wings & Weck was founded), a lot of people in the area are used to saying BW3.

Yep, I've ate at BW3 a lot of times. Their wings are delicious, especially the chicken teriyaki wings! Yum.

As for calling it, We call it BW3 here and of course, it's closer to Ohio as well.

There are some in West Virginia.

Moundsville
Bridgeport
Morgantown

I guess you'll have to wait and go if you ever move close to one or if you ever visit a friend that lives near one.

I live a few miles from 2 of them.

They seem to be just now coming in to Iowa. I have not been to one yet, but it is probably just a matter of time.

I ate at Buffalo Wild Wings twice in my lifetime. There is one next to the city I am residing in, it seems like a very busy place, I should go by sometime whenever I have the chance.

If you like wings, be sure to go on Tuesdays. That's 40 cents wings for that day.

If you like boneless wings, be sure to go on Thursdays. That's 50 cents boneless wings for that day.

I always get 4 different flavors... Hot BBQ, Asian Zing, Spicy Garlic, and Sweet BBQ. I also eat it in this order from hot to cool. Hot BBQ is hot and tangy. Asian Zing is sweet and tangy. Spicy Garlic is spicy. Sweet BBQ is sweet.

oh yea that is my fav bbq sport resturtant!

great place to eat and watch the sport live tv!

i went there several times...at baton rouge, la..
one soon in austin! one was closed..so they get one new at another place in austin! yaya!

I used to go there a lot when I was in Rochester because of those huge deaf gatherings that always happened on Tuesday nights as well as those UFC PPV and WWE PPV nights.

One time I went there...nice place. they moved to old Mexican restaurant (Don Pablo) down the street and now new bigger one than old one.

We probably go there one day.
