European Cookies, Candies, Pastries

I am wonder.

Have you ever eat an European cookies?
If yes and where is country's cookies from?

I ate English, Germany, Danish, Norwergian, Russian, Latvian, Italian, French, Belgian, Polish and other. I love these cookies, candies and pastries. It taste unlike in American's cookies and candies with high sugar and high fat.

Italian's biscotti is my favorite number one!!! Also I like Italian's waffle vanilla flat cookies. YUMMY! It's very low fat and low sugar.

You can share with us what is your favorite European's. You can post a pictures here.

Kinder eggs from Germany. As a child I had to take care not to bite too hard because the toy was inside. I see on the net the toys are now enclased in a plastic shell.

I love Belgium chocolates. My old friend often go there and brings chocolates home. She let me have a few pieces and I fell in love with their chocolate...

Other stuff...not sure if I did tried it.

I used to babysit their daughter, family got my son Kinder eggs. America don't sell them cuz of tiny pieces toys inside the candy. So they went to Canada to get those...they got him HUGE ASS Easter egg. he loves it! Even Tahoe ate like 1/2 of them but didn't get sick!! WEIRD. I did keep eye on her make sure nothing goes wrong..but she was fine! I wanted to get more of those but I have to go Canada to get those. Oh well. It tasted pretty good though!

I'm surprised that those of you who were in England didn't partake of an afternoon's crumpets and tea!

I used to think Turkish Delight would be great when reading English children's books. Then I found out it is like grapefruit flavored gel. Yuck.

I like to eat Polish, Slovakian, Italian and Russian pastries. I loved Slovakian foods because my relations are Slovakian. I really loved to eat made-cooking pierogi from my grandmother.

LoL! I like English's Shortcake cookie. It's taste not much sugar in it. I love European's cookies more than American's. I have an English Shortcake recipes from my husband's great grandma's recipes from Scotland and British.

If the shortcake is the hard. You may can try to put a cookie dip in coffee. You eat it. This is so soft cookie with coffee dip. It's very delicious!

I love all German sweets. Their chocolate is amazing. Even their Gummy Bears are better than in the States. And streudel is to die for!

I still have my grandmother's recipes for her sweets and pastries. Idon't make them as often as I'd like, but I still make her Anise Cookies and her Gingerbread every Christmas.

After Eight Mints are thin chocolate mints in individual envelopes that originated in England. They are another of my favorite.
