Unhappy I get side pains whenever i'm running, and I need the side pains to stop before band!

Okay, I have band camp next week. I have band camp on monday at my high school from 9AM-9PM. And then on tuesday-saturday i'm gone for the week, I'm going to be at Miami University here in ohio. And I really need to work my ass off on some excercising. So i was doing situps, pushups (not like what guys do. girls cross their legs and use their knees on the floor and do pushups but i tried doing what guys do for push ups..i barely can do it!) and i was lifting my chair on my legs and arms to get some more muscles, etc. But i was planning on going for a jog but i got too lazy. And i've been drinking too much pop and i want to start getting in shape now before I have band camp. And i know I don't have that much time.

So..Whenever i jog, i get side pains ALOT! Like under my ribs on my right side starts to hurt. And it would start to hurt after 3 minutes or so, and I would start to feel like i'm going to faint and I have to stop running for a min or 2. Because I KNOW that the whole marching band members (including the pit members and i'm in the pit) would have to run around the campus at Miami University. Maybe for a 2 mile jog i think. I'm not sure how many miles i'll be running. But the worst thing i'm not looking forward to band camp is the running. Because of my side pains. And I've been eating some fruits, vegtables, i'm trying to drink more water, and i've been riding my bike around the neighboorhood, and i was playing a bit of basketball and soccer outside of my house.

So my problem is my side pains; whenever i'm jogging either for school, around the neighboorhood, or for the marching band. So, how would you handle this?? And how would you get rid of the pain?? Because I do NOT want to feel the side pains again when i'm running. It takes out energy of me. Can you help me pls????? Thanks so much!!!

Oh btw, i'm 14, i'm almost 15.

hmm might be a little late for a reply but don't expect your body to 'get in shape' in a week. If you drink alot of soda, your body will have to take time to adjust to your new diet so if you were concerned about your side pains, you should've changed your diet weeks ago rather than wait a week before you go camp. But if you keep experiencing side pain, I would just try and grab that area and hold onto it while running. It helps me. Some people say if you press your fingers into that area for awhile it helps relieve it too. I'm a runner so I know how to deal with my side pains (if i ever get any)
