I am close to two Joe's Crab Shack locations. I went there with my mother about two weeks ago. It was somewhat distracting there - two (I believe) people had birthday parties - the waitresses and waiters went to the tables doing some kind of dances and singing birthday. There were lots of clapping.

At least, it's not as bad as Hooters.

At Hooters, all the waitresses will put the birthday boy (or girl) on a red wagon... drag him around the restaurant... sing... then make that person do the hula hoop to match his new age.

Did they do the YMCA song? They did when I ate there the last time. *GROAN* That has to be the worst song of all time.
