For your information, Bad Ass Coffee and Scandia Kaffee House aren't local coffee businesses, you can find them at anywhere on West Coast.
Why is it that when a coffeeshop opens in a location, Starbucks has to open a shop across the street from the coffeeshop? That is the case in several locations in SLC, and I think it's pathetic. Starbuck's can open anywhere because it's well known, but no, they have to open across the street from established coffeeshops.

All this Starbucks talk makes me want to go to Starbucks this weekend for a cuppa. But shit I've not no reason to go. I have to pay my SL bill this week. I'll see if I can find a good reason to be over in Russellville this weekend.

I like the Coffeebean and Tealeaf, the coffee is smoothier and the best iced mochas I have tasted.

For some crazy reason, McDonald's has great coffee too. I would pick McDonald's coffee over Starbucks that's just me.

Yeah, not only that but I also notice that they always take a corner, too.

It is called completive. Starbucks can open their stores next to another coffee stores whatever they want to. They have the rights to do that.

Lowe's Home Improvement Stores are doing exactly same thing with Home Depot, and local home improvement stores by building their new stores right next to their stores. Wal-Mart is doing the same thing with Target, Kmart, and etc.. Many businesses are doing same thing too.

I don't think it is pathetic at all. If you understand business, you will understand why many businesses are like that. Many people don't mind because they like to have more options in their neighborhoods.

Corner is traditional place for anyone to open up their coffee shop. Starbucks is doing that to follow the tradition.

"What You Know Now" It moves to fast for me. I told every one my receptive

Well it still appears to be signing, "What do want to know now?"

My 22 year old daughter likes Japanese Animae as well. I don't
care for it and I often tease her about taking brain breaks from
college when she is reading these strange books. She says it
keeps her from going crazy after a weeks worth of calculus and
physiology classes. Being dsylexic, it took me years to learn to
read in the correct direction anyway. Reading from right to left
causes me serious emotional brain drain!
