I'm having a light dinner. I'll have mushroom and barely soup with salad and Texas toast tonight.

Cornbread.

Not very sweet. Nice sidedish to go with salty food or spicy food though.

I'm having pizza style English muffins. It will just be cheese and tomato sauce on it with salads on the side.

I am making Cornish Pasties as we loved them when we visited the UK, nothing here tastes anywhere near as good as the real thing, so I am going to try and make them! ;-)

Lately I am having to cook a lot of softer foods. Tonight will be different from the stuff from this past week. I will fix pork, peas and pasta. I will have to puree the pork and pasta with a little gravy for hubby. He is having his teeth pulled for dentures. He never took care and is now paying for it. He has 2 teeth pulled 4 weeks ago and this past weekend, they took another 10 out. I think the dentist said that at the next appointment in 2 weeks, she will remove the final 7 or 9. Then in 2 months, he will have full upper and lower dentures.

Going to make pizza tonight: dough and sauce made from scratch, and 4 cheeses.

Toppings: bacon, prosciutto, sliced onion, pickled chipotle peppers, kalamata olives, gorgonzola cheese.

Can't wait!!!!

We are going to eat chicken pot pies, Coca Cola, and a few miniature Airhead candies.

Halloween candies are great! I just hate giving away part of them to little kids.

This evening, we had broiled steak, sauteed onion, mushrooms & garlic, white rice and a cucumber & tomato salad. Hubby had class and was not here.

I would like to make some homemade pizza, haven't done that in a while.
last night I had some brown spicy mushroom rice and some stir-fryed chickpeas with Middle Eastern spices in the rice, an apple and a salad.
Tonight, don't know. Hubby and I both have colds.

Dogmom, hope you and hubby start feeling better and get better.

Tonight hubby will be home for dinner, so it has to be able to be pureed for him. I think I will be doing a chicken stir-fry and serve it over rice noodles or something like that. Then, I only have to puree the chicken and veggies. May have applesauce on the side.

Kristina! Your dinner plans look good. I meant to get some applesauce and forgot. Do you like the fruity applesauce - cherry, peach, etc.?

Tonight for me, thinking of lentil soup, wild salmon salad, steamed veggies...
hubby - burger, organic tater tots

I go for the plain no sugar added applesauce and sprinkle it with nutmeg and cinnamon.

oh, that is also what I like, Kristina. Sometimes I'll add fresh fruit or maybe the un-sweetened frozen ones. My favorite brand is actually the Eden organic applesauce - it's just whole pureed apples.

Left over from other night dinner, roast beef with potato and carrots. I don't feel alike to cook meals anymore.

Dinner plans changed. Hubby and son went to the town council Halloween dinner and party. Mother, daughter and I went to McDonald's. I will not do that again.

Last night, our family had my homemade Pumpkin Soup. Yumm. (It is also a sure-fire way to get my youngest son to eat his vegetables! :-) )

I walked alone to a neighborhood diner and ate a two egg, two pancake special. All for $3.99 and I couldn't eat it all.

And proud to report I didn't get run over.

Plus lucky I go in there with my daughter so the waitress knows I can't understand her and she just kept filling my soda.

Roast beef with roasted potato, carrot and onion. It was perfectly carmelized and made its own sauce. Mmm. Dessert was half a Snickers bar.

@Beclac I love pumpkin soup. I often buy small pumpkins, clean and bake them with the broth and seasonings inside. It makes a great soup. I lightly scrape the inside shell and then use an immersion blender to puree. So good.

Tonight is a Halloween dinner party at my friend's house. She's making pumpkin mole', as in the traditional Mexican dish with a little twist on it.

I'm sort of scared...

Did the pork tonight, but changed the way of cooking it. Pork loin chops, boneless, thin cut, in skillet with 1 tablespoon of canola oil and 3 small onions sliced. After turning pork, sprinkle with garlic powder and onion powder, then cinnamon sugar and pour in a can of pear nectar and cover. Let simmer for 15 minutes then uncover and let simmer for another 5 minutes to thicken slightly. Served with white rice and green beans.
