hope you will have a good time for the
but if not maybe you and your husband could go out a different time and have your own party

I would like to have fish tonight. Fish and salad. But my husband only likes fried fish. So he will have to have something else.

I walked with my daughter a block to the grocery diner. I had a hamburger with onion and tomato, french fries, and a chocolate malt.

It is very foggy and it felt good on my face. It was very old fashioned.

I am glad you had a nice time with your daughter, Bott. That restaurant reminds me of a place my folks and I and husband went to that they really enjoyed - especially my parents. It had the chocolate malted shakes and the owners seemed to try to want to have the feeling in their diner that you wrote about.

we have a fog advisory here

I think we have the same advisory and will be colder tomorrow so the roads will be hazardous.

Curious, is your mom making vegetarian stew?

well, be careful anywhere you go, Bott

we have dog training tomorrow night...

nope, no veggie stew, but my mom often will take some of the vegetables out of it and give me some of those, and/or give hubby some meat. We get produce and local meat from the farmer's market as much as possible. One time she and I made stew together and I took it home. That was nice. I like to spend time with her.

I am fixing salmon, rice and brocolli, cauliflower and carrots for the family. I am too upset to eat. No depression, just not in a good mood and feeling sorry for myself.

I did eat and the salmon had a balsamic and honey glaze and the rice was cooked with coconut milk.

Well - tonight I get to take son and MIL to weight loss group. I still haven't decided if I am going to stay. After the meeting we usually go to either Perkins, Denny's or Applebee's. Tonight is Perkins since we have a coupon for $10 off the total ticket. Since we will be there, I will most likely get a Chef's Salad. Don't want to spend too much of MIL's money. I always feel guilty. Even though I drive her everywhere she needs, she buys me a meal out at least 3 days a week, depending on the budget and how many appointments she has.

I will think jealously of your restaurant meal. I am going to eat a Boston Market chicken pot pie that came from the grocery store. We used to have a couple of those Boston Market restaurants here but they went out.

They came in here and were gone within a year. I actually liked them, but I guess not enough others did.

I was trying to be a good dieter. I had a tossed salad with grilled chicken breast bits in it with a honey mustard fat free dressing. It had tiny bits of roasted pecans rather than croutons. I used a tiny bit of soy bakon bits. It was delicious. Later I was still hungry and blew it. I had a delicious pbj on whole wheat. It was with grape jam. mmmm. I blew it, but it was really good. The doctor gave me 3 "shame on you" last visit. One for cholesterol, two for having gained 9 pounds last year. Sigh.

some of you guys are eating some toxins.

I made myself homemade honey mustard salmon salad sandwich with lots of egg whites. Tonight, I will be making homemade lemon herb grilled chicken with few red potatoes, eggs, and whey/casein protein mix shake along with some of cantaloupe.

I will be fixing roasted potatoes, broiled pork loin chops with rosemary and onion, steamed carrots, and a side salad of cottage cheese with fresh tomato slices.

Had baked potatoes for lunch today. I am just potato hungry and bought a bag of them yesterday and don't want them to go bad.
