sweet pic of Joey, Botti

well, AD folks are busy with dinner plans....hubby and I are relaxing with dogs and just going to hang out and watch a movie. We saw his sister and her family last weekend for a short time and we were over at my parents for Hanukkah/light menorah also for a while, so this weekend is just a quiet non-celebratory time for the four of us here - 2 people and 2 dogs.
Took some pic's of my Rottie girl's Secret Santa gift opening "festivities" from some other Rottie people.

have a nice evening everyone

We had - baked ham, mac & cheese (yuck), limas with bacon, green beans with bacon, sweet potato casserole, celery sticks (daughter doesn't like limas, sweet potatoes or green beans), cherry cheesecake, pecan pie and mincemeat pie as well as vanilla ice cream.

Earlier today I made myself some sauteed sweet potatoes with olive oil and spices, your post reminded me, Kristina.
Those desserts - now I need to get some!

Going to walk to the mall with my daughter, look at sales and eat there. Unless more snow.

Well, we made it. Very cold and high snow drifts. I just ate hamburger, fries, and Diet Coke.

Plus I drank a little of my daughter's chocolate malt.

No one bothered to cook anything because the power's out. I'm going to go look for something to heat up though; I don't care if it is 9:30 or not, I'm hungry.

Was lazy.

Just layered rice, canned salmon, then some seaweed ontop.

I took some thick tomato sauce, added some olive oil and some organic chicken stock to it and also added some white beans and some sauteed organic kale and stirred it all up in the pot together and made this kale and bean soup. I had sauteed the kale previously with some olive oil, basil, ginger and garlic. So I had that soup and salad.

That sounds just awful to me, but my husband would eat it with relish! He likes to cook things like that too.

Plus you could probably get a job as a chef in a health food restaurant.

See, it could work. My husband would drive there to eat. Please remember to stock the Diet Coke for me.
