Dark chocolate or milk chocolate?

Which do you prefer? I am a chocoholic anyway but I prefer dark chocolate. When you ask a person who likes dark chocolate, if they like dark chocolate the usual response is, “is there any other?” a person who likes milk chocolate usually says they hate dark chocolate. I don’t know why there is such a divide. Do you like anything in the chocolate? I hate nuts except pecans in chocolate. LOVE coconut in chocolate. My favorite though…… raspberry in dark chocolate. OH IT IS SO SO SO GOOD!!!! Wow mmmmmm I love it. oh yes if it is chocolate it has to be Godiva. Expensive but worth every penny!!!

I love dark chocolate as well. It just tastes more rich and I am more satisified than eating milk chocolate. One small piece can sustain me for a while and I don't have to pig myself out. I love a lot of Swiss and German chocolate, especially when they make dark chocolate. Lindt's, Spruengeli, Schuchard, etc... Godiva is good too, but Belgian chocolate is fantastic. Leonids (sp) make awesome chocolates. I used to love these seashell chocolates with rich hazelnut nougat. Waou.

I have heard the same thing about milk chocolate lovers hating dark chocolate, saying it is bitter or something. I don't get it, really! For Dec 8th, (St Nicholas' Day), he left us some really good chocolate truffles from France, but it is so rich that I only eat one or two once in a while. Imagine, 2 kilos of chocolate and its still not finished! heh heh

Nice picture. Sir, you are one good lookin' guy.

Ahem, now, to answer your question, I like both, though you need a rich dark chocolate to pour over ice cream.

I prefer dark chocolate over milk chocolate.

I'm not a chocolate person, but if it's mixed with something like... Carmello... Reeses... M&M Peanut Butter... (mostly caramel and/or peanut butter).

I remember a limited edition Kit Kat that was dark chocolate. Those were good.

Milk Chocolate is great for me because it is so rich and tasty, it has a bit of zing to it when eating it. The Dark Chocolate for my taste tends to be a bit strong. It is delicious yes, but a bit strong for me.

I've always loved getting the Ghirardelli Squares with the caramel fillings in it. Ooo, Yum!

I like milk chocolate more than dark chocolate, but I do not hate dark choc, though. I'd eat Cherry Ripe because it has dark choc on it so it tasted better than it'd if it's milk choc.

My fave is Lindt mint.

That is what i am talking about these are so good. The best i have ever had though was a surprise for me. It was Godiva which is so good. This was a dark chocolate egg...... filled with pureed(sp) blackberries. Normally i will go through a piece of chocolate pretty quick, but this.... took me the better part of an hour to eat it. it was so good i had to take my time. WOW.

No Vampy you are mistaken, those were freakin awesome!! MMMMMMMMMMM they came in bite sized. Story time gather 'round. Okay so a senior manager at a job i used to work at also loves dark chocolate like i do. Some one bought her and me a pack of these. We were in HEAVEN!!! so one day mine went missing. SHE STOLE THEM!!! she denies it to this day (we are great friends) but they were found in her desk drawer. Then after i got them back she took them again and i had to chase her around the building to get them back!! LMAO those were great times, fun company to work for.... and chocolate! LOL

My girlfriend's grandma made homemade dutch chocolate cake for her birthday last week. she loves it. It is not likely chocolate.

Dark Chocolate is good for me to keep my health reason. For my breakfast I drink chocolate milk every morning because milk is good benefit rather than another beverages.
