In that case, it would be a good idea to make a VCR mod that plays DVDs.

Convert your VHS cassettes into DVD cases.

Line them all up on the shelves with your "VCR". If someone breaks in, they will see an old ugly VCR and a bunch of old crappy VHS cassettes.

"Ugh! This guy is OLD NEWS! Forget that crap!" and take off.
