[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PF7EpEnglgk]KIDS REACT TO OLD COMPUTERS - YouTube[/ame]

Man! That was one of my first computer at school back in 1981. These kids react completely different than I reacted to it. Funny, I was eager with bunch of codes, and so on. It was fun, and yeah computer has advanced so much since my first experience with computer back in 1981.

I remember dabbling with basic, my sis and I used it to make wierd offending remarks all over the screen. :D

spoiled? how so?

just the way they talk, their mannerism, and its like they're VERY middle class, don't ask me more, i know you're never agree or can't see the way of things as I do...

The family's first computer is similar to this around mid 1980's IBM:

oh ok but I would suggest you to try have a healthy outlook on "life" because these are the kids who will carry on the next generation of humanity with newer and better technology and hopefully a better life for all... and a piece of history of humanity with them starting from when they were born. your emo-like attitude is just too depressing to read.

they've never seen these old computers. they've never dealt with it. it's not a spoiled attitude. you're not gonna switch back to old computer, aren't ya? does that make you a spoiled brat too?

im not a feking emo!! christ where the F$*RU#$ you get that from??P?P!
geez this generation gap is showing....

tell you what, i have less faith in next generations to come than what we had...with resources dwindling, and greed beckoning more fans....and they are 'I want it NOW generations"...its a societal time bomb...
so , there you go...

and you.....?

Hmm, I'm older than both of you. I loved it when 1-hour photo printing became available (see, showing my age :giggle: ). I wanted my pics NOW.

"I want it now" is not a new concept. Some people just handle waiting better than others.

kids so spoilt now, notice how they whine....

I didn't they where acting spoilt , they where acting like kids that saw a computer they're not use to working with . I hated it when I had to use a client rotary phone to call the office ,
it seen to take forever to dial the number . So I can relate to the kids thinking the old fashion computer being too slow. It thought it was funny when one boy said the computer could be used as 'a footstool ' . I loved the kids I thought they where very smart .

How did you carry that on a plane and use it? seems like it would be heavy on your lap.

You would had too seen if the plane had any outlets , I wonder when airplane first had outlets for passengers to use.
