You got to be kidding me!! In America, a 5 year old child can be 200 pounds over weight and that child is not taken away from the stupid patents.
This is a real example of child endangerment.

Are there really any 200 pound 5 year old kids? I find it hard to believe!

If they were in USA, they might not be caught in the first place since they might be making more than ~$100 US a month and be able to afford a car or something better, hopefully.

Where's the child's HELMET?....Don't give a rat's ass if the parents want to ride around with no Helmet, but the child is precious cargo and they seem to be treating the child like a dog....

They don't make helmets small enough to do the child any good, and their necks usually aren't strong enough to support one. Besides, in a collision, the baby's entire body would probably experience severe, life-threatening trauma. There really is no safe way to transport babies and small children on motorcycles and scooters. But it's a very common practice overseas, especially Southeast Asia.

Sad to say but yes there are a few 200 pounders. If it would help, I also say a 100 pound overweight child under 5 years old should have the parents charged with child endangerment.

From the photo, it looks like it could be in Asias or South/Central America.

I'd say this looks like it's in Peru due to the faces and rickshaw you can see in the upper right corner. They're pretty common there.

Keep in mind that in countries like the one in the pic, this is an everyday occurrence.

Remember, back in the '60's, it was okay to let your children ride on the tailgate of pickup trucks.

Wrong! A girl was taken away from her parents for being too fat. The parents where in trouble for child abused for letting their child get so big.

There was an accident the child could get throw off the motorcycle and break it neck.

they should take kid away from parent if they that over weight due to eating and lack of exercise or at least put them on risk register or american equiverlent to uk.send parents on parenting class and keep check on parents way of life.
i been many asian countries and what appears to be horrific to us many of our ways are horrific to them e.g the weight thing.a child may and is often alot happier than kids in our world at least in buddist countries,they would look at it as karma if it your day to die you will

Situations change in life. Someone could become pregnant, then both parents lose their jobs to layoff. Should they abort? Should government pay?
