Introduction? Heck, why not.

Hey, Bryan here -- Deaf myself. Heard about this site from a friend few months ago and I have been reluctant to join until tonight (surprisingly).

I hope to learn, educate, and immerse myself deeper into this culture. That is, if I remember to remind myself to revisit this site continuously whenever I have the free time to do so.

Got Twitter? Add me if you dare, b2theryan.

Cheers & Happy Holidays,

B

Why would you be reluctant? You may be disappointed that this site may keep us too busy to follow you on Twitter.

Why would I be reluctant you ask? In all honesty, I'd rather not answer that question because it may or would offend some people here. I wasn't looking to barge in here and cause trouble. However, on the bright side -- AD.com just added another member and it continues to expand!

And disappointed? No I won't be. I don't expect 100 new followers overnight to my Twitter account, (let alone 1). But too busy to follow me? Obviously you may not understand the whole concept of it? For every Twitter account you follow and every "tweet" the account makes, it could show up on your cell as a text message or a Twitter app. Twitter's an amazing tool that can be used in many ways, I believe it benefits businesses the most. You could get amazing deals/discounts if you follow your favorite store just by following their Twitter account that you don't see anywhere else. Not necessarily for attention, but it could get you the most up to date information you could possibly get. I.e., a devastating earthquake occurred in Haiti this past year and media writers/reporters scrambled to get the news out first but really, ordinary people would have already tweeted about it and followers would then start a ripple effect. It's pretty sweet nonetheless.

I look forward to continue posting on here and contribute!
