Hello, Hello, everyone!

Hello everyone! My name is Hellerskull, but feel free to call me Heller for short. I don't tend to give out my real name for a security reason on internet. I'm deaf ever since my birth without my family aware of this "so-called" disability until I was 18 months old. Now, I'm a college student on my second year in Community college in this small town where I lives in a state of Arizona to try to live the dream I always want to be. Medical Examiner or at least any branches that fall under forensic fields. I'm a fighter for what's right for me along the way in my life whenever it throw at me no matter how hard it will hit me right in my face, I'll always try to find a way to get through this. Other than that, I'm a very friendly person that almost everyone would love to hang out with, but unfortunately, I don't really have friends right now from where I lives. There are only two of them that I like are from classes I take this semester. It's no big deal for me since I get used to being isolated for a long while now.

Anyway, who is care enough to be introduced to me?

I lives in the little, but fast-growing town called Show Low up in the mountains about three hours away from Phoenix. I preferred to called it "Hell" because it's so damn (it's all right to said it?) hot down there.

Welcome, Heller. Although I'm very old, I'm new here, too, ha ha ha. I appreciate your "handle." I don't do well in the heat and it would be hell for me. Used to live in Montana, where the seasons are "almost winter," "winter," and "just been winter." Retiring to middle Oregon is as far south as I can go. Ha ha ha, you'll like some of the "heated" discussions here.

Hi, Heller: I am a college student also. Now I am a Biology major with Math minor but I think about changing to Chemistry major - not big change really. For Medical Examiner - what major do you need?

What I'm attending is a community college which is a two years college. My goal is to get Associate degree in Science with the courses I needed to take in order to achieve that. I'm having problem regarding of the service they provide me is not what exactly I needed. I had lot of discussion with them about that, and also I have another issue that are screwing me up during this semester. They were threatening me to drop my classes in middle of this regardless there are 6 weeks away from winter's break.

So, I won't be at college during the next semester because the college is being ass for not trying to get me interpreters with license. Right now, I'm still having two interpreters with me and one of them I know for over four year, she's trying to get NID and other is a "fresh-green" interpreter from Galludent university. She's learning to deal with interpreting at the college level.

Anyway, things will work out because I'm fed up with their bullshit they promised me. I'm going to take that time in the next semester to work on the scholarships I need to pay for everything at NTID in Rochester, New York. I heard it's a good college there that provide everything I need there. ^_^

oh, I almost forget something. My major is science for sure. In order to become Medical examiner, I have to go through four years of university, four years of Medical school, two to three years of residency, and I think one year of being mentor under Medical Examiner? I'm not sure about that part.

Hello Laicy! It take a lot of potential to reach to that kind of level, but to me it's a challenge that I enjoy of taking it through. I'm taking the hardest course this semester is Human Anatomy and Physiology class, but I'm doing very well so far! I memorized the names of the bones, tissues, and muscles so far now. It's fun class to take.

I love riding horse so much as well. My side of the family are mostly cowboys and they enjoy the fun competition in Rodeo somewhere in Nevada. I'm not sure where they are now. It's awesome to see them riding horses like that as long as no one is getting killed there. That'll spoil my good mood.

One year one interpretor was bad. I knew she wasn't interpreting everything because she would stop and the professor still talks. I have list of vocab words for each class and she couldn't remember the list and would try to fingerspell loooooong science words ("stoichiometry" - fingerspelling is horrible and I couldn't follow). I think science overwhelm her. I got a new one after I talked to my school. Sorry your school is not so good! A bad interpretor can kill your semester. I never had a "brand new" interpreter I think - could be rough probably!

Interesting about Medical Examiner.

! I think about med school. I completed Gen Chem I and II, Biology I, Calculus I, Physics I and II. For med school pre-req I need just more: Biochem (some med schools), Organic Chem I and II. Now I do Organic Chem I, but I studied Organic some before college. So just Organic II really for most schools. But I don't know if schools get me in or if I could pass med school. Maybe if I did 4 year med school in 10 years!

I need decision. When did you decide Medical Examiner and how ?

She is known as bitter of last few groomer! However, Maggie was so nice to me and didn't bite me at all when I gave her haircut except for nail clipped. Boy she got !! Maggie was adopted by family for 6 years and her life with families never stop growling!!
