Hey there, new of course
Hey there, I just found AD today while looking up information about deafness. I'm a hearing person, currently dating a deaf guy for about four months now. After browsing around here, I decided to join just incase I needed some more information about deaf culture. Currently, I'm 16, turning 17 later this year; and a senior in high school. My boyfriend, who is 18, just finished his freshman year at a community college by his home. Right now, even though he wears his hearing aids all the time around me and insists that he's fine with it, I just am trying to pick up some sign language just so that I don't have to feel like the hearing aids are the only way he and I can talk. Plus, I know how much he hates to wear his hearing aids all the time and just tries to play it off with me. :-P

Anyway, it's nice to meet all of you here.
