hi my name is Jamie, I am hearing and my boyfriend is deaf and has been teaching me to become more fluent in sign, before I met him I already had a fair bit of signing from my work and life experience. I am 19 and live on vancouver island, BC, Can. I work in schools with students with special needs ranging from autism (many use sign), cp, learning disabilities, ect and there are a few HOH and deaf students in our district. I am intrested in learning more about deaf culture as I already have a lot of sign (ASL & SEE)
I just wanted to say Hi!
