Hello!
I am a hearing teacher of DHH elementary age students. This coming school year, I will be with 1st-3rd graders.
I started learning ASL about six years ago, and have been learning SEE over the past year (the communication philosophy of the program I teach in does not necessarily reflect mine).
I'm still pretty new to teaching and feel that I owe it to my students to put some time and effort into keeping my signing skills strong and to learn more about what the Deaf community has to say! I've been attending ASL socials in my area monthly and thought I could also learn a lot by becoming active in this internet community as well.
I look forward to getting to know you all!
