Hello everyone!
I'm pretty new to ASL so hence the "unofficial ASL student" comment, but then again aren't we all students ? Anyways I live in Richmond, VA and I am mostly hearing and am a Veteran. After said life events about 6 years ago I slowly started to lose some hearing, little by little. I've been learning ASL off and on for about a year now, my main inspiration is/was my friends son who is profoundly deaf. I'd love for more immersion in the Deaf community but am not entirely comfortable with my ASL yet.... I know practice practice practice! LOL Anyone in the area feel free to contact me, would love someone who is very patient as I said my ASL isn't great yet. Hoping to make many friends! Take care.
