Hello from Sherburne, NY

I signed up in May but had unfortunatly been rather busy and unable to post here. So I'd like to introduce myself now. I'm 29 and hard of hearing I have behind the ear hearing aids in both ears, my most recent audiologist appoinment found more hearing loss' and apperantly I lost speech recognition which I never knew could happen going from100% down to 60% in right ear. so yeah been an adventure. I have tried teaching myself sign language and found some good books tht allowed me to gain quiet the vocabulary but nothing really on the grammar and syntax, thankfully I have a deaf coworker helping me out when she can. Sorry for this long winded post but hope you are all well and hope to be around posting from time to time.
