Hard of Hearing but, not by test standards. I wrote a funny story about that. I just completed ASL102 with a B but, I've been told I sign very well. My brain is still adjusting to two languages. Even though, I was born hearing, my speaking has never been very good. Signing makes me feel better understood even though, store cashiers are still rude at my sometimes broken speech and pointing.

"Hard of Hearing but, not by test standards." Can you explain what you mean by this ?

I have hearing trouble but, for some reason that didn't show on the last hearing test. It's very confusing to me too and appointment desks and coverage put me on hold until next month. I mean, they removed part of my ear infected by a cyst near the eardrum. I started losing understanding a month before that. - I really shouldn't have been so open before, it hurts to explain because, my Mother is very verbally abusive about me not always understanding her. She's thinks I don't know but, I understand.
