Seeking a Friend
Greetings;
I'm new to this site, but joined in hopes of meeting other sign language learners or Deaf people. I am hearing, but I am very interested in Deaf culture and am currently learning ASL. I would like to get in touch with any Deaf or hearing persons to practice ASL or just be friends! I look forward to meeting you, -Skye |

 I'm new here myself. I'm hearing also. I've been learning for about 8 years (started with signing time with my kids as babies) and it turned into a Deaf Studies major when I went back to college. I'm trying to improve my "reading" skills so I can get a job working at a Deaf school, hopefully to become a teacher before I reach retirement age  I can sign pretty good.. I think.. lol but I have nobody to sign with. Not sure where you're from, but, regardless, I DO have skype.. If I could figure out how to work it...  I haven't figured out even how to work all the parts of this site, but I'm here if you're interested
