Hi new member (hearing?)

Hi, I'm Meira. I joined all deaf.com for a lot of reasons. First of all being I want to learn more about deaf culture and asl. I'm forming a small group on campus to study and any help is appreciated! Also I want to learn asl because my grandpa is deaf and my mom has sarcoidosis which is making her loose her hearing. Not only that but me and my sister have apd, tinnitus and hyperacusis which makes carrying on conversations in almost any environment impossible. So, I guess that's why I'm here, looking forward to learning a ton.
