seeking local deaf community
I'm hard of hearing, living in an assisted living community in Humboldt County, CA. I studied ASL in San Francisco twenty or more years ago but had no one to practice with. My life has changed a lot. I'm widowed and now teach ASL to senior "with it" residents here who are eager to learn. I'd like to find friends in the deaf community in the area. I have no interest in exploiting them in any way and I'm not looking for romantic relationships. Anyone in the Eureka, CA interested?
