I'm not trying to educate anyone. I'm just saying that in MY real life, the deaf and hard of hearing have a very different perspective than the general one I've found on AllDeaf. Apparently, I didn't make it clear that perhaps the d/hh I have interacted with are not culturally Deaf and that is why I have had different experiences with the two groups. I am glad for the differences; it gives me a lot to think about.

I have actually gone white and cold from your post. And am seriously reconsidering AllDeaf.

I think you made quite an unwarrented attack, SallyLou.

Fear of other deaf being able to hear???? Nah, I only fear that the right to make choice to undergo CI surgery or not is taken away from the deaf people.
