I assume you're asking how to upload a wav. clip of her talking -- as in like, you're curious where you can host it on a free site or what... Sorry I'm abit confused but I think I can help if you're looking for a free site to host it from.

Edit : Keep in mind I have never used these two but they seem to check out to be able to host a wide arry of digital media from pictures to videos -- voice files included... I think.

I have the wav file, I have it posted on a nether web site. I cannot link directly to it, so I wanted to put it somewhere on AD.

Hi Lilly's dad, you might want to look around at the computer store like CompUSA and it may be best to ask a woman who is a staff member about the audio file because that is something women are more likely to know about with computer and keeping a recording of their kid's voices at various stages of their life. I remember one time I was at a friend's house and we were sitting drinking beer and playing cards in the kitchen and the women were in the living room and they were talking about the family album scrapbook and they had a tape recorder on the table and the ladies were very quiet and they were just smiling and talking quietly, it seemed they were being nostaglic and I was on my way to the bathroom and I stopped to ask what was going on with the tape recorder because I could see it was moving in the small window of the tape recorder and they told me that one of the ladies who lives there had a tape recorder of the kids at various ages from being a baby to being a kid and I went oh ok and I went ahead to the bathroom then I came back to play cards with the guys. I was at a hearing guy's house and everybody was hearing, I was the only one who was Deaf and I had forgotten about that until now when I was reading your post then I remembered the women that were in the living room, at that time I thought Oh Women !!!! Big Deal !!!!! but now that I am an uncle to many kids and it does make good sense because at Christmas time or birthday parties, my family videotapes during the holidays and birthdays and we can sit down and watch, laugh together and talk about the good times that we had together at Christmas etc so I hope you find what you are looking for and CompUSA store is a good start. God Bless

I've already got the equipment to do this. I have a small digital voice recorder that I carried on me while in patrol. I used this to record Lillys voice to show the progress she has made. I have transfered two files, and even converted them into .wav files. I have posted them in another website (motocycle stuff) in my profile. I tried to post a link to them, but it didnt work right. After clicking on the link, there were 3 or 4 more thing to do to be able to hear them.
I guess I should rephrase my initial question.
Is it possible on alldeaf.com to post a .wav file someplace that people can listen to/download it?

I could try to figure out another way to create a link instead of posting on this site.

Well Lilly's Dad, most of us are Deaf like me, I have no way of being able to understand anything that is being said on audio but those who are ASL interpreters or hard of hearing or those with cochlear implants or has good understanding with behind the ear hearing aids may be able to hear the audio file of your daughter growing up so I think maybe it would be better if the ladies of AllDeaf.com who love kids can send you a p.m. and ask to listen to your audio file of your daughter in private messengering. That way it is much more safer and I am sure you and Alex can work something out with that where you can post your .wav file through private messengering ? I don't know .... I would think that kind of thing is alittle too personal and best kept between your family and a few close friends. I am sure the ladies of AllDeaf.com would enjoy listening to your daughter talk on audio through private messengering. That way everybody is safe. That is what I would do if I was you.

lily's dad, I would suggest Pando at Welcome to Pando | Thanks for Sharing if you want to.

AD does not allow audio formats in attachment. but you could ask/talk to Alex about storage space for your account. I recall Alex do offer them but not sure about that so ask him.

Here's example of Pando download link below (do check out the video, it is awesome!)

This download requires Pando. Get it free! | Welcome to Pando

Boult, Thank you. I will check them out.

Heath. I am aware that the majority of people here will not be able to hear the audio. But, there are several here that can. There are several hearing parents of deaf children here that just may enjoy hearing this. The other site that I posted it in were very interested in hearing it. And they are a bounch of bikers that have nothing to do with deaf issues.
