I know it sucks in the states to have to pay BUT I had MUCH better health care in the states and never had to wait for stuff than I have had here in canada- I hate our health care |

I don't mind that she's really going to be there..More I mind how she said it and how she's treated me in the past...she's been downright rude to me and I find it very unacceptable. She thinks from first appt that I was lying. But to prove I was wrong I had a bunch of other tests. ABR and some other test that shows I am indeed deaf as per my audiogram. So that shut her up pretty well but she still was ignorant again after the 2nd appt. ..not as bad but still. There is no need for ignorance when it isn't my fault what my ears decide to do.

Alicia: I guess the procedure in Ottawa is different than what happened to me at Sunnybrook/Toronto. The audi was not there with the surgeon-just him.
I knew she approved the Cochlear Implant as she said so-at the end of the appointment- February 4, 2007. Of course, subject to "passing" all the physicals. Fortunately - I was successful- the operation was July 12,2007.
