Prop 8 has been ruled unconstitutional!!!!!

In other news apparently rain is wet!!!!!
 
The ruling will be appealed. I don't think this will be decided for some time to come.
 
yeah, I saw this last night on the news - great step toward common sense and equality, we'll see where it goes:D
 
the appeal will just be an attempt to get prop 8 in front of a supreme court which could potentially be great or not so great because it then affects the nation.

Actually legal analysts are saying an SC ruling on Prop 8 will not have an effect on other states.

That's false, look at Roe v. Wade so it already applied to all states so case about same sex marriage will.

That's not what I have read from legal experts. Basically the court is ruling on whether or not California can ban rights that it already granted AND since civil unions are still granted in California, is it reasonable for California to ban marriage. So any ruling the court makes will be pretty specific to California.

then I guess that we should wait and see about what court will say about apply.

How you feel if gay marriage is legal in all states due to court ruling?

That's not answer my question.

Legal experts only expressing about what they will think and it is up to Supreme Court whatever they want to apply all states or just CA only.

Actually no, the Supreme Court will be ruling on a specific case.

You really can't predict about what Supreme Court ruling will apply.

I don't trust legal experts and they are not 100% accurate.

I have no idea about what SC will going rule on it so I just want see them to be already ruled. There are probably complication with ruling because different issues with same sex marriage.

I want to see same sex marriage legal in Texas and all southern states.
